Like our collection of eggs? From left to right: Goose, Duck, Turkey, and Chicken.
Brown African Goose Eggs - These eggs can equal at least 3 chicken eggs, they're great for baking, and unless they're cooked low n slow, they won't be your favorite fried egg. Somewhat rubbery...
Rouen Duck Eggs - These eggs are basically a mini version of the goose eggs, we don't like to eat them, but we love to bake with them. These you use the same as you would chicken eggs.
Bourbon Red Turkey Eggs - This, believe it or not, is actually only the second turkey egg we've gotten. The hens just started to lay and so we've found two of these in their pen recently. We haven't tried eating them yet, but we're hoping they'll turn out to be like the chicken eggs!
Golden Laced Wyandotte Chicken Eggs - What can I say? We all know what these little brown things are. We're actually so spoiled from these eggs, that we don't like the store bought anymore, which is good as our little ladies lay quite well (as is evident by the contents of our refrigerators!).
